The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period runs January 1 through March 31 each year. Only current Medicare Advantage enrollees can use it, and they can make ONE change: switch to a different MA plan, OR drop MA and return to Original Medicare (with optional Part D). MA-OEP is not a Medigap-buying window — switching to Medigap may still require medical underwriting depending on your state and trial-right status.
